May 4th will be a big day for many university students celebrating their graduation ceremony at The Big House this year. The guest speaker is scheduled to be our new state Governor. Gretchen Whitmer will be sticking with tradition as the 6th sitting Governor to deliver a commencement address for U of M in the past 40 years. Although she is an MSU Spartan graduate (but also former Towsley Policymaker in Residence – U of M) it will be all about the maize and blue graduates and their achievements on the the 4th.
